We are excited to announce that the first 100 People Who Care meeting will be July 29th from 6:30-7:30 pm. This will be an opportunity for us to meet and also serve as an introduction to those who are interested in our organization but haven’t yet registered as members.
From the Meeting Coordinator – Stephen Avivi
The meeting location, details and registration information:
Expressionz Café and Meeting Place
9938 70 Ave NW, Edmonton
July 29, 2014
6:30 to 7:30 pm (registration 6:00 to 6:30 pm)
To help manage the meeting and plan the venue and seating, we’re using EventBrite. There is no ticket fee; it’s simply an organizational method to help with registration. The link to register is here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/100-people-who-care-july-29th-meeting-tickets-12154641861
Note: The café itself closes at 5:00 pm, but they will have beverages for sale and some snack items. For this first meeting, their menu is not available and we will discuss as a group whether this is something we’d like to have for future meetings.
(Non-members: You can register using EventBrite to attend the meeting on a get-to-know-us basis. No fees, dues or payment are required, and you are not required to make a donation. You will not be added to our mailing list, though you will receive an auto-reminder about the meeting from EventBrite.)
From the Treasurer – Gary Goertz
Please remember to bring your cheque book as we will be donating to a local charity that evening. Reminder that cheques will be made directly to the charity. Credit cards and cash cannot be accepted.
If you can’t make this first meeting, no worries. We will announce the selected charity on our web site and you can call me at 780-434-0838 to get your cheque to us, or mail it to 100 People Who Care, Box 4297, Edmonton, AB T6E 4T3
